Talking About Race with Isaac Adams
A pastoral approach to navigating difficult and hard conversations.
It’s no secret that conversations about race are among the most difficult ones to have, both in the broader American culture and in the church. Frankly, the last few years have caused many folks to stop having conversations because of fatigue and frustration.
Isaac Adams is a pastor in Birmingham, Alabama. He started a ministry called United We Pray to pray for racial unity in the country and racial reconciliation in the church. Isaac loves the church, loves the gospel, and is trying to bring people together. This is why you should read his book, Talking About Race: Gospel Hope for Hard Conversations. It is biblical, pastoral, and wise.
I had a chance to talk with Isaac about this, in a new conversation you can catch here or on your favorite podcast app.
