I’m often asked, “How do you get all your ideas as a writer?” Well, much of it I can’t help because like columnist, Ray Bradbury, my ideas wake me. And yet I have found that creativity isn’t automatic. It has to be nurtured. So how do we do that?
Rather than tell you how to be someone brimming with ideas, I’d like to share three enemies of creativity. These are practices and habits that close your mind and mute your muse.
