What Do You Think?
A new weekly show on culture, sports, and politics on a new audio platform.
So I’m trying something new. There is a new platform called Callin, which is something like a cross between podcasting and Twitter spaces. I’ve decided to try it out and host a show once a week, called What Do You Think with Dan Darling where I offer perspectives on news stories, some in culture, some in politics, some in sports. Usually, it will center around things I’m writing in World, USA Today, or here on this newsletter. It should be fun and interactive. If you join the live recording, you might have an opportunity to join in. Sometimes I’ll have guests like journalists, authors, pastors, and other interesting people. And sometimes I’ll just be me. What I like about Callin is the ease of use: I can simply pull up the app and use my phone to record.
My first one will be today at 12:00 CT. If you would like to listen or join the conversation, you have to download the Callin app on your iPhone.
Note: This doesn’t mean The Way Home Podcast is going anywhere. We are preparing for a new season of long-form interviews there that will more directly tie into my work with the Land Center for Cultural Engagement. Stay tuned.
