It’s about the salvation of Greg Laurie, who was also from a broken home, in the early 70s during the Jesus Movement. It sounds like the same situation your dad was in.
The way I understand it, this same school had a similar revival in 1970 that fed into the Jesus Movement. Isn’t it funny that the movie is coming out right now? Maybe God is up to something big. 😀
