Thank you. Just wondering if you could explain or give examples of “fundamentalism”. A century ago it conveyed a perspective as to scripture. Today in common use it seems to be a pejorative meaning extremist. And the only use I see if it by Christians the KJV-only Fundamentalist Baptists.
That's a good question. I write this as someone who grew up fundamentalist and still have great love for many of the good things I was taught in the movement. Sometimes this term is used a pejorative for anyone who believes the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith. But in the best sense of the term, I think it describes both a raising of lower tier issues - Bible versions, etc - to a top tier issue and by a strict separationism.
